     Mr. Spartan was quite the show this year with all the new talents and creativity. The contestants worked hard this year to entertain the crowd and tried hard to get their votes. The contestants in Mr. Spartan were Austin Myers, Jack Hainline, Stephen Kupferschmid, David Hanck, Jacob Litwiller, David Walker, Jesse Springer, Jess Goujon, and Nate Holt.

     Ever wonder what is in Olympia student’s lockers? Here is your chance to find out. Tasha and I were curious about this question ourselves, so we took an adventure through the school on a search for out of the ordinary lockers. We had a lot of fun randomly selecting people in the hallway and raiding their locker, without them having time to change anything. Some lockers were plain; others had some odd items lying around.

Lady Spartans Lace up Their Spikes

     The Olympia softball season has just begun. With numbers low for both the JV team and Varsity team, prospects are still looking good. Head Coach Al Toliver and Assistant Coach Jeff Gaither are repeatedly telling their girls they are impressed with the work that is getting done at practice and just cannot wait for them to get out on the dirt!
