Loan Period:
The loan period for most library materials is two weeks. Please note that the library may set loan periods based on availability or type of materials, and will extend due dates for teacher projects.
Renewals: Library materials may be renewed if they are not reserved for another user.
Returns: Returning materials on time makes those items available to more people. The book drop is at the circulation desk.
Overdues: An overdue item is one that is not returned by the due date. The library checkout system blocks any loan until all items are returned and any fines and fees are paid.
Fines and Fees: Students are responsible for materials checked out in their name. Do not lend them to others before checking them back in. Lost books and magazines must be paid for by the end of the school year.
Reserves: If you need an item that is already checked out, sign up on the binder by Mrs. Graff's office to have the item saved for you.
Electronic Resources:
All library computers offer access to the library catalog, Ebsco & other databases, and the Internet. Additional resources include Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Behavior:
The library is maintained as a quiet place for research, study, and reading. Students are expected to:
Maintain quiet
Bring no food or drink near computers
Take care of library materials and equipment
Leave no personal items unattended at tables or hallways
Abide by copyright restrictions on library materials and resources
