- Celebration of Class of 2007 PSAE Scores. PowerPoint presentation celebrating the improvement in scores in all subject areas for the class of 2007. (E. Robin Staudenmeier)
- Characteristics of High Performing Schools. Teachers were presented an outline of characteristics of high performing schools. They annotated the graphic with sticky note examples at Olympia. (E. Robin Staudenmeier)
- World Cafe - Teachers were randomly assigned to focus groups and discussed their opinions and experiences with the following three topics: collaboration, essential vocabulary, and advisory program. (Chris Embry-Mohr)
- Raising the Bar.
Fall 2006
- Essential Vocabulary Workshop. In this workshop, teachers were introduced to the research relating the association between level of background knowledge and academic achievement and the link between vocabulary development and background knowledge. Teachers learned how to develop a list of essential vocabulary terms, how to teach, review, and play with vocabulary.
